Insight in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Services Technician to perform installation, repair, testing, and servicing on systems and networks on client sites. You will handle hardware repairs, installs, and documentation while maintaining low client downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related experience, extensive Windows OS knowledge, and familiarity with Ghost re-image, SCCM, and antivirus software. On-site work with a 2:00pm–10:30pm shift is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or two years related experience.
• Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting is a plus.
• Able to perform both basic and advanced testing and documentation when requested.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and vendor diagnostics; re-imaging with Ghost; SCCM; virus scanning software.
• Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience on laptops/desktops for Tier One vendors.
• Familiarity with vendor websites to find hardware updates and engineering changes; multiple Tier One products (IBM, Compaq, HP, Toshiba).
• A+ certification and at least one vendor hardware certification required.
• Minimum of one year bench and/or on-site service technical experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform hardware/peripheral repairs and identify cost-effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Install and test system hardware; set up, test, and diagnose hardware issues.
• Complete required client/build documentation and handle returns per policy.
• Identify and resolve system hardware problems and order replacement parts as needed.
• Unpack/pack devices and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
