Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a full-time bus operator to transport military personnel on Fort Sill Army installation. The role requires driving a 44-seat passenger bus, maintaining safety, and following schedules.

You will perform daily inspections and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid CDL A or B, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DoT physicals and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
• Clean driving record for past seven years.
• Ability to pass a DoT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules.
• Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
• Coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
• Comply with installation access and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Other duties as assigned.
