Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Cyber Security / DevOps Systems Engineer to design, automate, secure, and optimize full-stack enterprise solutions for mission-critical operations. The role focuses on containerized apps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, with on-site work at Fort Bragg, NC.

Responsibilities include threat correlation, threat profiling, cyber threat assessments, and implementing cyber-security measures. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations may be required, with a strict TS/SCI clearance and DoD

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DEVOPS/SYSTEMS Engineering or related field
• Top secret clearance required: TS/SCI
• Experience with On-Premise GitLab, Rancher, K8s administration
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible
• Secure Python programming for automation
• Git/Github CI/CD, automated builds and deployments
• Linux admin experience (prefer Debian family)
• Experience integrating software into air-gapped environments
• API design and integration into workflows
• Strong troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required
• Current active US passport and US driver's license
• Ability to wear protective gear as required

Responsibilities

• Engineer containerized apps, CI/CD and monitoring for full-stack automation
• Integrate new software/hardware into existing environments
• Advise on and implement cyber-security measures
• Deploy security controls to protect systems and data
• Test and evaluate cyberspace systems and perform troubleshooting
• Update, configure and manage system components for customers
• Stay current with industry standards and best practices
• Travel to customer sites per mission requirements
