Job summary

Agile Defense in Fort Bragg, NC, is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to build, maintain, and operate a modern microservice-based platform. The role focuses on automating pipelines, securing software delivery, and enabling development teams to ship reliably across environments.

You will work with software engineers, security teams, and platform stakeholders in a hybrid onsite setting, contributing to secure, scalable services while adhering to SDLC best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related role.
• Strong experience with Linux-based development and operations.
• Experience deploying and operating applications using Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar pipelines and Helm/Kubernetes manifests.
• Active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve development, deployment, and operational infrastructure for a microservice platform.
• Collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and platform stakeholders to improve build, test, security, deployment, and operation processes.
• Automate repeatable workflows and troubleshoot distributed systems across multiple environments.
