Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead the Fort Bliss workforce and ensure all PWS tasks are executed accurately, efficiently, and safely. The SOM collaborates with the Program Manager, Government representatives, and contract personnel to maintain mission readiness and contract performance.

The role requires strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, logistics expertise, and a track record in managing complex site operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in physical logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain leadership.
At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience supporting the DoD.

Responsibilities

Provide direct management of Fort Bliss warehouse operations or Huntsville analytical operations.
Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the site workforce.
Ensure tasks, deliverables, and performance standards are met on schedule.
Translate priorities into actionable site-level work assignments.
Plan staffing, workload distribution, schedules, resources, and priorities.
Monitor performance, attendance, quality, and procedures compliance.
Offer direction, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.
Identify operational issues and implement timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with Program Manager and Government on site performance and risks.
Maintain effective communication among employees, leadership, and stakeholders.
