HomePro Pest Control in Virginia Beach is seeking Home Service Inspectors to perform exterior-focused inspections and provide pest solutions outside the home. We emphasize safety, professionalism, and empathetic customer service, with paid training to grow your knowledge and career.

Earn between $50,000 and $100,000 per year (base + commissions) with a comprehensive benefits package, a company vehicle with gas card, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• No previous pest control experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• We will consider all qualified applicants in accordance with applicable state and local laws.

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by using training to propose the best pest solution.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and explain the process to set expectations.
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspection findings and address questions.

• Evaluate and correct possible pest issues
• Use reduced-risk pesticides focused outside to keep pests from entering the home

Responsibilities

You will…

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to recommend the best innovative overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes where you will explain how our products and services can give them peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—don’t worry, we teach you how!
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
• Use the iPad we provide to prepare sales agreements and help you stay organized—we will provide training on this too.

Qualifications

• No Previous Pest Control Experience Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
