Forrest Powered by HomePro is seeking Home Service Inspectors to work on pest control in Virginia Beach. You will prioritize safety, demonstrate professionalism and integrity, and serve as an empathetic problem solver to recommend the best pest solution for each home.

The role involves prospecting new business, scheduling in-home appointments, and presenting our products and services. Training is provided, with a path to earning commissions and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No pest control experience required.
• Qualified applicants will be considered in accordance with state and local laws.

• Evaluate and correct possible pest issues
• Use reduced-risk pesticides focused outside to keep pests from entering the home

Responsibilities

You will…

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing the in-depth training provided to recommend the best innovative overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes where you will explain how our products and services can give them peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—don’t worry, we teach you how!
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
• Use the iPad we provide to prepare sales agreements and help you stay organized—we will provide training on this too.

Qualifications

• No Previous Pest Control Experience Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
