Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a mission-critical analyst to support 24x7 watch operations. The role focuses on SIGINT data collection, processing, and transmission to national decision-makers, ensuring security and safety for troops.

Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, have Linux command-line experience, FORNSAT, DNR/DNI, and be flexible with shifts (day, swing, mid) including weekends and holidays. Salary ranges and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Join a dynamic 24x7 watch center.
• Maintain customer computers and networks to ensure vital information flow.
• Provide support to optimize and maintain customer accesses.
• Focus on data and voice communications technologies (DNR/DNI, IP).
• Support varying schedules to ensure mission coverage.
• Schedule around preferences where possible; shifts include day, swing, mid; weekends/holidays.

Basic Requirements

• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support
• Within the last 7 years, at least 3 of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications

Job Description

• Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations.
• In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe.
• You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses.
• The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP.
• To be considered for this position, candidates must understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission essential TTO and be able to support varying schedules at times to ensure mission coverage.
• We do our best to schedule around individual preferences, however candidates must be flexible with shift schedules.
• Shifts range from day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145) and mid shift (2145-0545) including weekends and holidays.

Required Experience

• Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
• FORNSAT experience is required
• Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems
• DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration
• Basic troubleshooting experience
• Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly
• Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies

Desired Experience

• Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450)
• Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451)
• Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python)
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi
• Basic knowledge of network protocols

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
