Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a SIGINT Development Analyst to support a fast-paced 24/7 watch center delivering mission-critical operations. You will help maintain and optimize systems that enable the collection, processing, and transmission of critical intelligence data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SIGINT development or analytic support experience.
• Hands-on Linux with command-line usage and troubleshooting.
• Experience with DNR/DNI collection, dataflow processes, and front-end collection systems (including FOP configuration).
• FORNSAT familiarity with SATCOM technologies and SOP/documentation.

Job description

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a SIGINT Development Analyst to support a dynamic, fast‑paced 24/7 watch center delivering mission‑critical operations. In this role, you will help maintain and optimize systems that enable the collection, processing, and transmission of critical intelligence data. You will work with voice and data communications technologies, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, and IP‑based systems, ensuring front‑end collection platforms remain operational in a continuous operations environment. The role requires flexibility to support shift work (day, swing, or mid), including weekends and holidays, to meet mission coverage requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize front‑end SIGINT collection systems
• Support DNR/DNI collection, dataflow, and FOP configuration activities
• Perform troubleshooting within Linux‑based environments
• Manage and maintain system access for customer platforms
• Follow SOPs and update technical documentation as needed
• Ensure continuous availability of systems supporting mission operations
• Collaborate within a 24x7 watch center environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SIGINT development or analytic support experience with modern telecommunications, network protocols, or internet communications
• Hands‑on Linux experience, including command‑line usage and system troubleshooting
• Experience with DNR/DNI collection, dataflow processes, and front‑end collection systems (including FOP configuration)
• FORNSAT experience and familiarity with SATCOM technologies, along with the ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced SIGINT training or coursework (e.g., Signals Collection/Processing 450 or Signals Analysis 451)
• Scripting experience (Bash, Shell, and/or Python) and familiarity with dataflow/automation tools (e.g., Apache NiFi)
• Experience supporting complex telecommunications or IP‑based collection environments
• Working knowledge of network protocols and data transport concepts
