Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction is seeking a carpenter with experience in concrete form work to construct and assemble form systems for bridge and structure projects. You will read blueprints, assemble wooden or metal forms, and assist in pouring and finishing concrete on job sites.

The role requires physical strength, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and a willingness to perform labor-intensive tasks with attention to safety and quality. Overtime and weekend work may be required on project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in rough concrete or bridge carpentry and pouring concrete or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to carry 70 lbs. or more.
• Willing to do laborer work.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms according to specifications for molding concrete structures.
• Saw lumber per blueprint dimensions and nail lumber to form panels.
• Pour and screed concrete to grade and straight edge; assist cement finishers.
• Proficiently erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
