Job summary

Best Military Resume is seeking a skilled concrete form carpenter to lead and support form carpentry on heavy civil water and wastewater projects. You will shoot grade, take precise field measurements, and field-cut bracing and form components.

You will build and strip forms, tie reinforcing steel, assist with rebar placement, and coordinate embedded items. The role requires safe tool use, climbing, and performing in active construction environments while planning daily priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in form carpentry and concrete form building.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing at least 80 pounds and work at elevated heights.
• Experience as a foreman or field lead in form carpentry or concrete construction.
• Experience in heavy civil water/wastewater construction or treatment plant work.
• Experience using electric saws, drills, and layout tools.

About The Role

Lead and support concrete form carpentry work for heavy civil water/wastewater construction projects. Shoot grade, take accurate field measurements, and field-cut wood bracing and other form components. Build, assemble, brace, and strip concrete forms while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assemble and tie reinforcing steel, assist with rebar placement, and support concrete placement activities. Install and coordinate embedded items such as wall sleeves, pipes, and anchor bolts. Use electric saws, drills, and hand tools safely and effectively. Climb ladders, work from scaffolding, and perform work in active construction environments. Plan the sequence of work, communicate daily priorities, and maintain a clean work area.
