Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our field team in Florida. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of commercial construction experience and is familiar with vertical and horizontal concrete forms and gang forms.

You will build rough wooden structures according to sketches or blueprints, adhere to safety protocols, provide your own hand tools, and operate in all weather conditions as required on projects across the region.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
