Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to join our field team in Smyrna, GA. You will build rough wooden structures, formwork, and scaffolds according to sketches and plans, while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires ability to work at elevated heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform outdoors in all weather conditions. 3 years of commercial construction experience is preferred, with familiarity in vertical/horizontal concrete forms and gang forms.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
