Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is actively seeking a Carpenter for site-based work in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities include building rough wooden structures such as concrete forms and temporary shelters, following sketches or blueprints, and maintaining safety on site.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of commercial construction carpenter experience, with preference for experience in vertical/horizontal concrete forms and gang forms, and the ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs in

Qualifications

• 3 years commercial construction carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms and gang forms preferred.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and lift up to 50 lbs in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures such as forms, scaffolds, and supports per sketches or instructions.
• Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be able to provide own tools listed (hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, tool pouch).
• May be required to work in outside weather conditions.
