Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a detail-oriented Research Associate I, Formulations, to join our Columbia, Missouri team on-site. You will prepare, sample, dispense, and track test and control formulations while maintaining GLP-compliant documentation and inventory records.

You will support preclinical studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams; a bachelor’s degree in a science discipline and 0–1 year of lab experience are preferred to contribute to accurate data and efficient study execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sample, and dispense formulation materials per procedures.
• Receive and document test materials; maintain chain-of-custody records.
• Monitor inventory and support study materials through lifecycle.
• Document activities, review data, and ensure GLP compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and assist with process improvements.
