Job summary

Eurofins USA Agroscience Services in Columbia, MO is seeking an Associate Scientist to support product chemistry studies under GLP, performing analyses with LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC, ICP-MS and related methods.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry and at least two years’ industry experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or on a team; standard hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with overtime and some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience.
• Familiarity with GLP and CRO environments preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Use SOPs and protocols to support product chemistry studies.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and perform maintenance.
• Run calculations for standards and linear regression.
• Operate LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-FID, GC-MS, ICP-MS, IC as needed.
• May function as Study Director or Principal Analyst on projects.
• Ensure data collection, review, and reporting under GLP guidelines.
• Monitor procedures for data accuracy and report quality.
• May supervise in a limited capacity when required.
