Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Sunnyvale, CA is hiring a manufacturing/lab technician to assemble, test, and document resin column products used in chromatography consumables. You will join a team focused on quality and safety in a GMP-compliant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (BS preferred) and at least 1 year of related work experience; daily tasks include using hand tools, recording results, and maintaining procedures and lab spaces. Shift is first, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BS degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, pack, and test resin column products on instruments to meet demand.
• Record and report test results and maintain documentation.
• Complete production work-orders per procedures.
• Follow quality policies to ensure high standards.
• Follow safety requirements and participate in safety activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab environment.
