Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Analytical Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years in chromatography, process development, analytical development, or manufacturing support.
• Hands-on chromatography experience and knowledge of resins, silica phases, and surface chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support for chromatography column packing, testing, and qualification failures.
• Investigate chromatographic performance issues: efficiency, peak asymmetry, resolution, retention, and backpressure.
• Analyze chromatograms, pressure profiles, packing parameters, and manufacturing records to identify root causes.
• Differentiate failures related to packing, equipment, testing conditions, stationary-phase properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Optimize column packing parameters including pressure, flow, slurry, and equipment settings.
• Design and execute experiments to improve packing reproducibility and yield.
• Apply polymer chemistry and surface chemistry knowledge to material-related issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and R&D to resolve challenges.
• Document investigations, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
• Develop, review, and revise SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
