Job summary

Nature's Lab, a division of DrVita, Inc., seeks a hands-on Formulation Scientist to join the R&D team in Las Vegas, NV. You will develop and scale dietary supplement formulations (capsules, tablets, powders, gummies) from concept to production, selecting ingredients and processing aids, and validating performance with pilot trials.

You will troubleshoot manufacturing issues, transfer processes to production, and maintain cGMP‑compliant documentation while collaborating with Manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline or equivalent hands-on formulation experience.
• At least two years in formulation development, process development, or related manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with tablet, gummy, capsule, or powder dosage forms.
• Ability to document results in a cGMP environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new dietary supplement formulations in capsules, tablets, powders, and gummies from concept to production.
• Select active ingredients, excipients, flavors, colors, sweeteners, coating systems, and processing aids.
• Evaluate raw-material characteristics such as particle size, density, flow, compressibility, hygroscopicity, solubility and compatibility.
• Design and conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials to evaluate formulation performance and manufacturability.
• Develop formulations meeting target potency, serving size, dosage form, stability, and label-claims.
