Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a Formulator in California to develop and optimize gummies and other dosage forms, driving scale-up from bench to manufacturing. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve formulations and ensure reliable supply, while translating data into robust processes and documentation.

The role emphasizes hands-on gummy formulation, process development, and technical transfers, with the opportunity to influence products from concept to commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science, or other relevant science degree.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and monitoring bench top, pilot, manufacturing scale-up and verification batches.
• Writing, editing and updating batch records, raw material specifications, SOPs, and technical reports, ensuring efficient operations.
• Using experimentation and data to troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Leading product and process development activities and supporting technology transfer to enable successful commercialization.
• Partnering cross-functionally to improve formulations and support product reliability and supply continuity.
