Job summary

Teknova is seeking a Production Technician II to support day-to-day production operations and perform routine to moderately complex procedures under direction. The role involves batch record reviews, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with the team to ensure timely product delivery.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, a background in chemistry or related science, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1–2 years of related experience.
• Background in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Able to perform semi-routine tasks with occasional deviations from standard practice.
• Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs final batch record review before product moves forward.
• Performs production-related duties requiring specialized training.
• Prepares products for next-day production.
• Maintains equipment and calibrations as needed.
• Assists Documentation with troubleshooting formulation deviations.
• Executes routine to moderately complex procedures (media prep, dispensing, labeling, washing).
• Coordinates with manager, team lead and teammates to meet deadlines.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures for tasks and area.
• Maintains training schedules for primary duties.
• Keeps accurate inventory and assists with material ordering.
• Records completion data in databases and paperwork.
• Learns new procedures and takes on new assignments as agreed.
