Job summary

Virbac Animal Health is seeking a Formulation & Process Development Scientist to join our team in the United States. You will develop new pharmaceutical products for animal health, optimize existing formulations, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure project success.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science (or higher), 3+ years in pharma, hands-on experience with QbD/DOE, and a track record in GMP/GLP environments.

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science; higher degree preferred.
• 3+ years in a pharmaceutical-related field; 2–5 years desired.
• Experience with GMP/GLP environments and product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new drug delivery methods for animals.
• Create formulation development plans and timelines.
• Apply QbD/DOE to develop products and processes.
• Collaborate with global product development for stability studies.
• Prepare manufacturing protocols and tech transfer reports.
