Job summary

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. in Woburn, MA (moving to Allston in Q4 2026) seeks an Engineer I/II, Formulation to lead formulation handoffs from R&D to manufacturing.

Reporting to the Director of Process Development, you will mentor technicians and oversee cGMP batch records, SOPs, and work instructions on a microarray patch platform, driving scalable processes and continuous improvement. Onsite 4–5 days/week.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of hands-on formulation development experience.
• Experience authoring batch records, SOPs and work Instructions.
• GxP environment experience preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cGMP formulation operations for Microarray Patch manufacturing.
• Mentor junior staff during manufacturing campaigns and training.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities: safety, compliance, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Drive formulation studies including excipient optimization and process development.
• Liaise between Research and Manufacturing to scale processes to production.
