Job summary

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. is seeking an innovative, collaborative Process Engineer to lead the technical development of our microarray patch manufacturing process in Woburn, MA, with a move to Allston in November 2026.

You will drive development strategies, partner with automation engineering, and mentor engineers to scale manufacturing for next-generation therapies. You will apply quality-by-design, DoE, and data analytics to create predictive models, while ensuring GMP-compliant operations and

Qualifications

  • Experience using quality-by-design to develop quantitative models for process development.
  • Strong DoE design and data analysis skills.
  • Hands-on experience scaling microscale drug delivery or medical device processes.
  • Experience operating under GMPs in late-stage or commercial settings.
  • Experience leading teams of engineers and managing tech transfers; CMC familiarity.
  • Background in process development for biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, or combination products.

Responsibilities

  • Contextualize process tradeoffs and define a robust development strategy for early and late phase programs.
  • Partner with other functions to assess automated manufacturing equipment and analytical techniques.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to meet future technical needs.
