Job summary

BioPhase in San Diego, CA is seeking a hands-on Research Associate to join a growing Formulation Development team on-site. You will support experimental work across small molecule formulation programs, with potential to advance to Sr. RA level depending on experience.

Qualifications

B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
2+ years of pharma industry experience.
Small molecule experience required.
HPLC sample running experience.
Good Documentation Practices in a regulated environment.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including sample preparation, sample analysis, and general lab support.
Assist with the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments under the guidance of senior scientists.
Contribute to formulation development and characterization, including solubility, stability, release, and physicochemical testing.
Operate and maintain analytical and formulation equipment, including HPLC-UV.
Support non-GLP and GLP production activities in accordance with SOPs and quality systems.
Analyze data and prepare tables, summaries, and reports.
Maintain accurate documentation in an electronic lab notebook and follow Good Documentation Practices.
Help improve processes and contribute to team goals.
