Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher company, seeks a Technician II- Formulated Research Products to formulate custom oligonucleotide orders on-site in Coralville, IA. You will translate customer specifications into a concrete formulation plan and operate both automated and manual lab equipment with problem-solving responsibility.

This role reports to the Formulated Research Products Supervisor and offers access to a comprehensive benefit package and annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A bachelor degree or higher.
• 12 months of lab experience.
• Life Science work experience preferred.
• Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Formulate custom oligonucleotide orders meeting customer specifications.
• Use automated and manual lab equipment with limited maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Translate order requirements into a formulation process for oligos to customer specifications.
• Use custom software packages to complete tasks and create final product.
