Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Coralville, IA is seeking a Technician II to support Formulated Research Products: TNFRP-Custom and Stock Products (CaSPr). The role involves transforming raw materials into final products, operating lab instruments, and adhering to SOPs and customer specifications.

The position reports to the Supervisor and is on-site, with a Su- Th 3p-12a shift. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and some lab experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some lab experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Associate degree 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
• Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
• Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
• Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.
