Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers formula, breast milk and donor breast milk per patient's order on the electronic medical record.
• Calculates volumes and additives based on recipes.
• Maintains adequate stock of products in preparation area, unit nourishment area, and pump rooms.
• Stores formula & breast milk using first in and first out method.
• Processes orders utilizing electronic medical record system; prints reports to ensure accuracy of order preparation, and prints labels for all prepared milk.
• Tracks breast milk updating milk recipe book and Kardex according to latest orders.
• Charges patient for preparation services utilizing the electronic medical record process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
