MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Forming Operator for the Saegertown, PA facility. This entry-level role involves operating forming equipment, performing basic quality checks, and supporting safe, efficient production while developing foundational manufacturing skills.

The position offers on-site work with a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM-7:00 AM) and a pay rate of $20/hour. Occasional overtime may be required; full-time, hourly employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use simple measuring tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor forming equipment according to established work instructions and supervisor guidance.
• Assist with basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as directed.
• Load raw materials into machines and maintain proper material flow.
• Perform routine in-process inspections using gauges and measuring devices, identify non-conforming material, and communicate quality concerns promptly.
• Monitor equipment during operation and notify your supervisor of abnormalities, jams, or other operating concerns.
• Complete required production documentation, including scrap reporting and production tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and machine-guarding requirements.
• Support material handling, packaging, labeling, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and training activities as directed.

• Location: Saegertown, PA
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Pay: $20/hour
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
• Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.

What You'll Do as a Forming Operator

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This role involves standing for extended periods during the shift.
• Employees in this role frequently bend, stoop, reach, and walk.
• The position requires lifting and carrying 35-50 pounds as required.
• The manufacturing environment may include exposure to noise, heat, oil, and moving machinery.
• Manual dexterity is required to operate equipment and use measuring tools.
• Visual acuity is required to inspect parts and read production documentation.
