Job summary

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Shift Operator to run forming and fryer equipment in an onsite facility. You will help meet production goals while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some manufacturing experience, and a mechanical aptitude. You will follow SOPs, document production activities, and work with the team to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Willingness to work in onsite manufacturing environment and follow safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust forming and fryer equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Follow SOPs, food safety requirements, and plant safety policies.
• Monitor product quality and process conditions, escalating issues as needed.
• Complete documentation related to production, quality checks, and equipment operation.
• Support sanitation, startup, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance, and leadership for continuous improvement.
