Job summary

Durex Industries in Cary, IL is seeking a Former to prepare and set up fixtures for the forming and bending of elements or steel tubes using blueprints. The role targets second shift with a 15% differential and involves fixture preparation, tooling, and transfer of finished parts to the stock area.

You will read calipers and prints, use hand tools, and perform quality checks with basic computer skills (Excel). Prior crane experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, scales, rulers, and blueprints.
• Basic Excel skills and computer aptitude.
• Ability to work with hand tools and read prints.
• Experience with overhead cranes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare form fixtures
• Prepare bend fixtures and tooling
• Install, form, and complete elements per mold
• Transfer formed elements to foundry/stock area
• Operate sandblaster and inspect quality with electrical equipment
