The Black Tux is seeking a Retail Associate in Tukwila, WA to guide customers through personalized fittings and styling. You will help host events, coordinate group looks on our platform, and ensure a smooth showroom experience from concept to checkout.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• Prior retail, customer service, or sales experience is a plus — a strong attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the showroom for extended periods, including bending, reaching, stretching, and walking to assist clients and maintain visual standards.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers by actively listening to their formalwear needs and event vision.
• Guide customers through styling and fit with a sales-driven approach using product knowledge and brand storytelling.
• Learn about customers’ lifestyles and events to identify repeat needs and build long-term relationships.
• Conduct fitting appointments and provide expert styling advice on fabrics, accessories and event aesthetics.
