Excellence is the standard; you will maintain accuracy and consistency, greeting guests, presenting courses, and ensuring every detail is polished. The Byron Nelson Lounge hours extend evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of service experience in fine dining restaurants or country clubs.
• Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, wine service, and wine pairings.
• Ability to time the service of each course and mark the table for each course.
• Prior knowledge of spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Set the dining room with the proper linens, silverware, napkins, and glassware.
• Set up the side station and perform assigned side (prep) work.
• Learn members’ names and their special preferences.
• Greet and acknowledge members and guests and provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
• Serve tables efficiently in a friendly and courteous manner, offering suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.
• Follow proper formal service protocols, including proper bread service, wine service, and coursing out each three-to-six course meal.
• Facilitate proper service techniques, such as serving from the left and clearing from the right.
• Advise supervisor or manager of any complaints should they occur.
• Ensure that the correct member numbers and names are given for billing.
• Complete all closing duties assigned by the manager.
