Job summary

Myers Park Country Club, Inc. is seeking a professional server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. You will greet members warmly, educate on food and beverage options, and ensure high-quality, polished service throughout the dining experience.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Prior serving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior serving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greets each member and recognizes names.
• Anticipate member needs and exceed expectations.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly in a friendly manner and offer wine/daily special suggestions.
• Be present throughout dining to refill beverages and clear dishes.
• Follow proper service etiquette (left-hand serving, right-side clearing).
• Open and close dining room duties and side work (stocking beverages, polishing, rolling silverware).
• Maintain high safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist teammates as needed.
• Attend trainings, tastings, and shift meetings.
