Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Tampa, FL to safely move and stack merchandise using powered equipment. You will load/unload shipments, organize storage, and support inventory control while maintaining a safe workspace.

Responsibilities include order picking, packing, labeling, and collaborating with other departments. A valid forklift certification is required; we offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 3 years related experience.
• Certified license/certification for powered material handling equipment (MHE) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other MHE safely following OSHA standards and work methods.
• Load/unload, move, stack and stage product and materials for storage and shipment.
• Assist in inventory control, cycle counts, and record keeping.
• Pick and pack orders, ensure accuracy, and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report safety issues promptly.
• Supervise and train Material Handlers as needed, coordinating with other departments.
