Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking a warehouse associate to operate a forklift and other powered material handling equipment, with duties across shipping, receiving, inventorying and palletizing. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a climate-controlled warehouse.

You will load and unload shipments, stage products, maintain records, and support inventory control while meeting OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months verifiable work experience in the prior 36 months operating material handling equipment (sit down/stand up forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, etc.).
• Must be able to perform essential duties in a warehouse environment and comply with OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in a climate controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other MHE to move, stack, and stage merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and move product to storage locations and into trailers or containers.
• Perform pick/pack, labeling, sorting, and basic packing duties as needed.
• Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security measures.
• Assist in physical inventories as required.
