Job summary

The Clorox Company is hiring for a Logistics Associate at our Atlanta-Main facility. The role involves daily forklift inspections, managing packaging materials, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution setting.

You will plan and prioritize work, support changeover and startup/shutdown processes, and handle raw materials per SDS procedures, while maintaining warehouse layout and capacity constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent experience) required.
• Resume required.
• Preferably 1-2 years of prior experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Able to demonstrate high level of Forklift Operator capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, willingness to learn, creativity, with sense of urgency.
• Strong commitment to plant’s MVP and company values.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime, including nights and weekends.
• Meets required skill certification criteria and tracks progress against certification.
• Supports department and plant goals of MVP for maximum output.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adhere to 5S standards and established procedures; comply with OSHA & DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of electric-powered forklift with proper documentation.
• Supports production with stage-to-stock and stock-to-stage for packaging materials.
• Reports and corrects unsafe conditions through Hazardous Notification and BBS processes.
• Performs safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems.
• Maintains forklift security and use of departmental tools.
• Plans and prioritizes work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Completes documentation for unloading/loading within the department.
• Supports changeover, startup/shutdown processes to standards.
• Adheres to SDS handling procedures for raw materials.
• Understands loading practices and weight distribution for carrier equipment.
• Understanding of warehouse layout and capacity constraints.
