Ventura Foods is seeking an entry-level Distribution - Shipping associate in Bondurant, IA. The role operates forklifts and pallet jacks to pull and palletize orders for shipment on 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Capable of heavy physical work including lifting.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Adherence to safety procedures and equipment operation rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered fork trucks or pallet jacks.
• Select products from warehouse and palletize in correct order.
• Verify carton count, product, and size; attach labels accordingly.
• Inspect equipment before shifts and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area in line with procedures.
• Travel between buildings up to 10% as needed.
• Assist in paperwork for shipping and inventory control.
