Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Monticello, IA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and accuracy. This hands-on role requires forklift operation, order pulling, staging, and inventory support to meet shipping schedules.

Work hours are Monday–Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position offers weekly pay, on-demand access to earned wages, and benefits starting on day 1 in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience, including qualified forklift operation (sit-down and stand-up).
• Yard tractor or Drexel experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math for warehouse tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices and team safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
• Operate forklifts safely and ensure SOP compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety.
• Pull, stage, and load orders onto trailers.
• Oversee warehouse and yard operations.
• Ensure tasks follow SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Perform daily equipment checks and submit maintenance reports.
• Support inventory accuracy and documentation to minimize errors.
