Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED (may substitute experience).
• Equivalent training/experience, and five years of general experience are required.
• Preferred candidate will have experience with Yale, Hyster, Clark, Crown, Raymond and Mitsubishi forklifts (electrical, gasoline, propane and diesel).

Responsibilities

• Submit purchase order request for parts.
• Maintain a safe work environment by verifying vehicle safety device operation.
• Maintain forklift truck and vehicle serviceability with preventive maintenance and repairs (hydraulics, electrical, drivetrain).
• Diagnose trouble sources and determine repair extent; replace worn parts; grind/adjust valves; rebuild carburetors; overhauls transmissions; repair fuel systems, lighting, ignition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Change and fill batteries and perform general maintenance on forklifts and stock selectors.
