Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group seeks a skilled Forklift Tire Technician to support tire service at the Houston branch, performing in-shop and on-site field work in the Greater Houston area. The role involves tire mounting, dismounting, repairs, inventory control and parts support.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years tire service or heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with forklift tire service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in shop or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic tire press to mount/dismount tires in shop and field.
• Disassemble and inspect tire and wheel assemblies; perform repairs.
• Perform flat tire repairs and replace worn tires on forklifts.
• Receive, stock, label tire shipments and maintain inventory logs.
• Pull and prepare tire orders; assist with parts and supplies.
• Record services, materials used and time spent; maintain logs.
