Job summary

Wolter, Inc. in Pilot Mountain, NC is seeking a Forklift Tech-Shop/Tire Tech to diagnose and repair material handling equipment. The role includes traveling to customer sites to replace tires and learn via factory training.

You will handle service jobs, document repairs, and communicate with shop leadership while maintaining safety and quality. Requires 2+ years forklift repair experience and strong customer orientation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2+ years repairing forklift trucks or similar equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair powered industrial equipment (gas/diesel/electric).
• Strong communication and customer-oriented approach.
• Must own tools required to perform repairs and have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as Tire Technician to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service jobs assigned to you.
• Document recommended repairs and assist in quoting to customers.
• Communicate with Shop Foreman/Manager on issues and needed support.
• Attend training classes to stay current on products.
• Submit daily paperwork for jobs worked (time cards, reports).
• Maintain shop cleanliness and adhere to safety rules.
• Assist other shop techs as appropriate.
