Job summary

Wolter, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Tech-Field in Garner, NC to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and related equipment. This role requires travel to customer sites for field service and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems, performing maintenance, and maintaining service records. Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school certification or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic system components.
• Diagnose and repair forklift electrical systems.
• Repair brake systems on forklifts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil/filter changes and hydraulic servicing.
• Travel to customer locations for field service and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Inspect aerial lifts and scissor lifts annually/quarterly.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ensure safety with PPE and work in shop or field environments.
