Shoppa’s Material Handling is seeking a Tire Technician to install and service tires on forklifts and related equipment at the shop and at customer locations using the mobile tire press truck. This role requires basic mechanical knowledge, physical ability, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge required.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to perform physical requirements.
• Strong communication skills and customer service.
• Minimum 1 year tire experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount/dismount industrial tires using a hydraulic 250-ton press inside the mobile tire truck.
• Stock tires and maintain inventory in proper locations.
• Identify wear vs. abuse on tires and report needs.
• Restock tire inventory on the truck.
• Ensure regular service on tire truck is performed.
• Notify Tire Dept. Manager when replacement is necessary for tools.
• Complete tire work orders with model, serial numbers, hour meter readings.
