Bailey in Spokane, WA is seeking a Forklift Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklift trucks in a fast-paced, family-owned environment. You will perform inspections, repairs, and service calls with safety as a priority, wear PPE, and keep precise maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in the field.
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections as directed. Obtain input from customer. Identify the cause of failure.
• Perform repairs or provide recommendations using appropriate tools and PPE.
• Maintain a clean work area and return to pre-repair or better condition.
• Maintain detailed working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases in repairs.
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment and vehicles; notify management of repairs or replacements.
• Participate in job related training and safety programs; maintain licenses and certifications.
• Represent Bailey professionally to customers and keep work areas clean.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
