Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Forklift Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of electric forklifts. This is a 1st shift position with pay starting at $28+/hr and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, battery checks, brake and tire work, hydraulic repairs, and preventive servicing. ASE certification is preferred but not required; 1 year of experience and a basic toolkit are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a forklift technician.
• A basic set of tools is required.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• All forklift repairs needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Component rebuild and hydraulic repair.
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery.
• Tire changes.
• Brakes.
• Bolt-on components.
