Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a warehouse/manufacturing environment; outdoor setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, and basic math as related to the job.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience operating forklift/trucks or related material-handling equipment; forklift certification possible.
• Good organizational skills; prioritize, manage time, and multi-task.
• Collaborate with QA, production, and shipping supervisors.
• Flexibility for hours and weekend work.
• Commitment to SHE principles and safe work practices.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain shipping equipment safely according to company guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in the shipping area.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to support shipping.
• Communicate with QA to meet quality policies and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance to facilitate equipment repairs.
• Inventory and load products per shipping orders; label and sort as required.
• Handle duties assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.
• Move products from staging to storage yard in a safe, organized manner.
• Load trucks according to shipping manifests and verify shipments against invoices.
• Provide service to both inbound and outbound customers as needed.
