Job summary

United Salad Co. in Sumner, WA is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support inbound/outbound operations, inspect trucks, and ensure accurate receiving records.

This role requires day shift, full-time status, and a start time of 10:00 AM with 7-day availability. Qualified candidates have forklift and pallet jack experience, can lift 30–40 lbs repeatedly, and communicate effectively; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience with electric sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Able to lift 30-40 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound trucks for cleanliness and temperatures once assigned a door.
• Record and check quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
• Ensure that shipper BOLs and our receiving paperwork match.
• Sort and segregate all items on each load.
• Properly count and tag each pallet with pallet license plate for correct item being received.
• Enter correct pack/expire dates on products received.
• Enter proper weights on random weight items; input stock items into computer/scan gun and store produce in the assigned location in or around warehouse.
• Ensure all picks (slot locations) are full and ready for each warehouse shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
