Job summary

PNW Warehousing in Sumner, WA is seeking a dependable Forklift Driver to safely move, load, unload, and store customer product while maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be part of a team, assist with floor-loaded container unloading, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires sit-down forklift experience, physical stamina, and a focus on safety and accuracy. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided; schedule is Monday–Friday with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks besides forklift operation.
• Willing to hand unload containers/trailers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and store product.
• Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
• Hand unload floor-loaded containers and trailers as needed.
• Receive, put away, pick, stage, and prepare customer product for shipment.
• Follow customer-specific requirements and warehouse procedures for handling and storing product.
• Verify product quantities, labels, locations, and other information to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete required scans and transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Follow FIFO, lot, or other inventory rotation requirements when applicable.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing product for visible damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and immediately report equipment or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment-operating requirements.
• Work collaboratively with forklift drivers, warehouse associates, leads, supervisors, customer service, and other team members.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse when workload and business needs require.
• Maintain productivity and quality expectations while handling customer product with care.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
