Job summary

GAF in Tampa, Florida is seeking a production operator to support safe, efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. You will follow safety protocols, wear protective gear, and collaborate with teammates to keep lines running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience; forklift experience is a plus. We offer competitive wages, health benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED completed.
• One year of relevant experience required.
• Preference given to candidates with strong manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely to protect assets and personnel.
• Wear required safety gear and follow safety rules.
• Safely load and unload materials using a forklift.
• Maintain accurate operational records as directed.
• Work as part of the machine crew during downtime, startup, and changes.
• Keep housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
